hey everyone i am gonna buy a new pa soon enough and i want some advice i wanna get two high watt speakers and satands two moniters for in around 800- 1000 any ideas

with that budget you'll be lucky, and it limits you to a vocal pa only (i.e not putting the instruments through it)

Well with a budget of €1,000 I reckon second hand is the way forward. And as I said, buy and sell might be a good place to start.

If you want something that will hold up well for a small gig, Yamaha do a system for about €989 for the desk and €600 for the speakers. I have one and I use it for the gigsmart acoustic nights, as well as for several Carlow gigs.
If you are stuck to that budget, I can put something together for you (I work in a guitar shop) for about that price. I'll PM you the specs tomorrow.
